Five Students From Unimal Conduct “Kampus Mengajar” Program In Malaysia

Five students from the Indonesian Language Study Program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Universitas Malikussaleh (Unimal) participated in a Student Mobility program at Universiti Inti Malaysia, which involves engaging in teaching-related activities. These students were directly released for the program by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr.Ir.Azhari, M.Sc., IPM.,Asean.Eng and the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Alfian, MA on October 11, 2023. Also present were the Head of the Academic, Student Affairs, Planning, and Cooperation, Dr. T. Nazaruddin, and the Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Subdivision, Sayed Murthadha MPd.

The participating students are Misbahul Munir, Nur Aida Syazwani, Afrida Wati, Ela Nabila, and Abdul Gania and they will participate in the program for a duration of four months. Dr. Azhari, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, mentioned that this program is part of the collaboration between the Assembly of Rectors of Indonesian State Universities (MRPTNI) and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Kuala Lumpur. This program was initiated due to the considerable number of Indonesian migrant workers' children in Kuala Lumpur who aspire to learn but face a shortage of educators.

The Unimal students will be received in Malaysia Thursday (12/10/2023). Subsequently, they will be placed in various locations (schools) there. They will also be accompanied by mentors present on site. This activity is expected to provide the students with valuable knowledge and unforgettable experiences. Hopefully, they will smoothly go through the program without encountering any obstacles. Upon completion, they will receive recognition or credit conversion from their respective study programs.
